Installation Based on the Curtain Heading
Eyelets and hooks connect a finished curtain to its rod or track and influence the way each panel hangs. Incorrect spacing, unsuitable accessory dimensions or weak heading construction can cause uneven folds, installation difficulty or inconsistent finished width.

Eyelet Selection and Heading Preparation
Curtain eyelets may be supplied in different materials, colors and internal diameters according to the rod size, curtain fabric and market requirements. The buyer should confirm whether the eyelet is decorative or functional, whether a specific finish is required and whether matching accessories are included.
Before installation, the curtain heading is prepared to provide a stable area for the eyelets. The required reinforcement depends on fabric weight, heading depth and finished panel size. Heavy blackout or multilayer curtains may need different heading construction from lightweight decorative panels.

- Internal and external dimensions
- Heading depth and reinforcement
- Distance from the upper edge
- Number of eyelets per panel

Eyelet Positioning and Installation
Eyelet positions are marked according to the approved panel width and heading specification. Spacing must remain consistent so the curtain forms balanced folds when closed or drawn across the rod.
The installation area is checked for correct alignment before the eyelets are fixed. Uneven positioning can change the visible height of the curtain or cause the panel edges to turn in the wrong direction. Where curtains are supplied as pairs, the first and last eyelet directions should also be considered so both panels present a consistent appearance.
Eyelet installation follows the confirmed construction details established during curtain sewing and stitching.
Hook and Heading-Tape Installation
Hook curtains normally require compatible heading tape, hook type and track or ring specifications. Buyers should provide a reference sample, drawing or clear installation requirement where a particular system must be matched.
The heading tape is sewn in a straight and stable position before hooks are inserted or packed separately. Hook spacing affects pleat distribution, finished curtain width and hanging balance. The number and position of hooks should therefore be recorded in the approved sample or order specification.
For project orders, it is also important to confirm whether the hooks will be pre-installed, supplied in an accessory bag or packed separately by room, size or item number.
Installation Inspection and Hanging Check
Accessory inspection takes place during installation and again after the curtain is complete. Checks may cover:
- Eyelet spacing, direction and secure attachment
- Hook quantity, spacing and insertion position
- Heading-tape alignment and stitching
- Accessory color and size against the approved sample
- Finished width and drop after installation
- Hanging balance and fold consistency
- Missing, loose, damaged or mixed accessories
Finished dimensions are checked according to the agreed measurement method through our size measurement inspection process.
Sample Approval and Bulk Order Control
For an OEM order, the sample should confirm the accessory type, heading structure, spacing, finished dimensions and hanging result. Approved details are recorded before bulk installation begins.
Custom colors, nonstandard eyelet sizes, special hooks or buyer-specific packing may affect MOQ, sample time, accessory preparation and production lead time. These points are reviewed according to the selected component and order quantity.
After installation, curtains proceed to finished curtain inspection before folding and packing.
