Branding Options for Curtain Programs
Drapestra supports custom logo and label development for importers, wholesalers, distributors and private label curtain brands. Branding is planned according to the curtain type, fabric, sales channel, target market and packaging format.
Common options include woven labels, printed labels, satin care labels, size labels, hangtags, insert cards and barcode stickers. Direct embroidery or printing on the curtain can also be reviewed when suitable for the selected material and product design.
Not every logo method is appropriate for every curtain. A sewn label is normally suitable for repeat identification and care information, while embroidery or direct printing may affect fabric appearance, drape and processing cost. The final method should be confirmed through artwork review and sampling.
Artwork and Logo File Review
Buyers should provide a vector file or high-resolution logo together with the required dimensions, colors and placement. Artwork should be reviewed at its actual production size because fine lines, small letters and complex color gradients may not reproduce clearly on woven or printed labels.
For embroidery or direct fabric printing, the required position and coverage should also be provided. Logo size, stitch density, number of colors and fabric construction can affect cost and finished appearance.
If several artwork versions are used for different markets or product ranges, each version should have a clear file name or item reference to reduce the risk of using the wrong logo during bulk production.
Woven, Printed and Care Labels
Woven labels are suitable for brand identification and can be developed in different sizes, colors and folding structures. The material, edge finish and sewing position should be selected according to the curtain construction.
Printed or satin labels can carry care instructions, fiber information, size, batch identification or buyer-required wording. The buyer is responsible for confirming the final wording and market-specific information before production.
Important label details include:
- Finished label size
- Material and background color
- Logo and text color
- Straight-cut or folded construction
- Sewing position
- Care instruction content
- Size or item reference
- Quantity per curtain or set
These details form part of a complete private label curtain program.
Hangtags, Barcodes and Product Identification
Hangtags and insert cards can carry product information, brand presentation or sales-channel details. Buyers should provide the approved artwork, paper preference, finished size, hole or string requirement and quantity per pack.
Barcode stickers require the correct barcode file, readable size and placement. If a curtain program includes multiple colors, dimensions or pack formats, the barcode must correspond to the correct SKU and packing assortment.
Hotel, healthcare or institutional projects may require room numbers, item codes or size identification rather than retail branding. These markings should be included in the order specification and packing list.
Label Sample and Placement Approval
A label sample or pre-production proof should be checked before bulk preparation. Review points include logo clarity, spelling, color, dimensions, folding, edge finish and attachment method.
The label can then be installed on a curtain sample to confirm its position and effect on the finished product. Standard samples normally require 3–5 working days, while customized samples typically require 7–15 working days depending on materials and processing. Our sample development process records the approved branding details before bulk production.
Bulk Production and Inspection
During bulk production, labels and branding are checked against the approved artwork and sample. Inspection can cover:
- Correct artwork version
- Logo size and color
- Label dimensions
- Sewing or attachment position
- Printed and woven appearance
- Barcode readability
- SKU and size matching
- Quantity per pack
Label and barcode details are also checked during the folding and packing process to prevent mixed products or incorrect retail packs.
MOQ, Lead Time and Quotation Information
Standard curtain programs usually start from 300–500 pieces per style and color. Customized OEM programs commonly start from 500–1,000 pieces. Special woven labels, printed materials or embroidery may have separate minimum quantities.
Typical bulk production takes 25–35 working days after approval. Complex branding or packaging programs may require 35–45 working days.
For a quotation, please provide the curtain type, quantity, logo file, label type, dimensions, colors, wording, barcode data, placement and packaging requirements. Branding and packaging should be coordinated through our custom packaging service before mass production.
