From Approved Sample to Bulk Production
Bulk curtain production begins only after the commercial terms, product specifications and sample details have been confirmed. The production reference should clearly record the curtain type, fabric, color, finished dimensions, heading style, stitching, accessories, labels and packaging.
For customized projects, the approved sample establishes the workmanship and appearance expected from the production batch. Any approved revisions should also be added to the final specification rather than communicated separately. Our sample development process helps buyers confirm these details before materials are prepared for mass production.
Production scheduling depends on the curtain construction, fabric availability, order quantity, number of sizes and colors, branding requirements and packing format. Typical mass production takes approximately 25–35 working days after sample and order approval. More complex OEM programs may require 35–45 working days.
Step 1: Specification and Material Confirmation
Before production starts, the order information is converted into a working specification for the production and inspection teams. Quantities are separated by style, color and size to reduce mixing errors during later processes.
Fabric rolls and required accessories are prepared according to the approved order. Fabric type, color and visible surface condition are checked before cutting. For orders using several fabric batches, color consistency should be reviewed before materials are released to production.

Step 2: Cutting and Sewing
Fabric is cut according to the required panel dimensions, seam allowances, pattern direction and heading construction. Printed, jacquard or directional fabrics may require additional alignment during spreading and cutting.
The cut panels then proceed through sewing and finishing. Depending on the curtain style, this can include side hems, bottom hems, header tape, rod pockets, pleats, eyelets, hooks, lining and accessory installation.
Production teams work against the approved sample and specification. Dimensions and workmanship are checked during production so that problems can be corrected before the full batch reaches final inspection.
Step 3: In-Process Quality Control
In-process inspection focuses on details that can affect the appearance, function and installation of the curtains. Typical checkpoints include panel dimensions, stitch condition, seam alignment, heading construction, accessory placement, pattern direction and color consistency.
For paired curtains, the left and right panels should be checked for matching length, heading position and pattern alignment where required. Labels and other branded components are verified against the approved artwork and placement reference before they are applied across the order.
Inspection requirements that are specific to a hotel, healthcare or commercial project should be confirmed before production begins.
Step 4: Finished Curtain Inspection
Completed curtains are checked against the confirmed specification before packing. Inspection may cover finished width and drop, sewing appearance, hems, headings, eyelets or hooks, fabric surface, color, labels and overall presentation.

Step 5: Packing and Shipment Preparation
Approved curtains are folded and packed according to the confirmed packing reference. Packing may include individual poly bags, paper cards, labels, barcodes, retail packaging, master cartons and buyer-specific carton markings.
Checks are made for the correct product, size, color, label, barcode and quantity per carton. Packed orders are then staged for final verification and shipment preparation under the agreed EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP term.

To evaluate production feasibility, MOQ and lead time, please provide the curtain type, fabric or material, finished dimensions, heading style, quantity per size and color, functional requirements, branding, packaging, destination and preferred trade term.
Standard programs usually begin from 300–500 pieces per style and color. Customized OEM projects commonly start from 500–1,000 pieces, depending on the materials, construction, processing and packaging requirements.
