Packing Based on Confirmed Order Requirements
Curtain packing begins after the products have passed the required finished curtain inspection. Before packing starts, we confirm the curtain style, dimensions, color, quantity per SKU, label information, individual packaging and master carton requirements against the approved order specification.
The packing method must suit the product rather than follow one standard format. Curtain size, fabric thickness, lining, heading structure and installed accessories all affect how each panel should be folded and protected. These details are reviewed during sampling so that the approved packing arrangement can be repeated during bulk production.
Curtain Folding and Product Protection
Finished curtains are arranged on a clean work surface and folded according to the confirmed dimensions and package size. The folding sequence is selected to limit unnecessary creasing and keep the visible surface, hems and heading section properly positioned.
Blackout curtains, velvet curtains, sheer panels and lined hotel curtains may require different folding arrangements because their thickness and surface characteristics are different. Eyelets, hooks and other accessories must not be compressed in a way that could deform the heading or mark the fabric.
If tissue paper, cardboard support, accessory bags or other protective materials are required, their material and placement should be confirmed before mass packing.
Labels, Barcodes and Individual Packaging
Individual packing options can include transparent poly bags, paper inserts, printed cards, retail boxes or other buyer-specified formats. Requirements such as bag size, sealing method, warning information and ventilation holes should be included in the packaging specification where applicable.
Product labels and barcodes are checked for the correct style, color, dimensions and SKU. For branded programs, the placement and content of woven labels, care labels, hangtags and barcode stickers should match the approved sample. Further options are explained on our custom logo and label page.
Printed materials should be approved before the full quantity is produced. Artwork revisions, special packaging materials and multiple SKU versions can affect sample time, MOQ, unit cost and production scheduling.
Master Carton Planning and Export Packing
Packed curtains are placed into master cartons according to the confirmed quantity per carton. Carton planning considers the folded package dimensions, product weight, fabric compression and protection needed during handling and transport.
The carton size and packing quantity can affect volumetric weight, container utilization and shipping cost. Buyers should therefore confirm whether the priority is retail presentation, product protection, lower shipping volume or a balance of these requirements.
Export carton details may include product identification, purchase order number, destination marks, carton sequence and buyer-specific shipping marks. Available materials and configurations can be reviewed through our custom curtain packaging service.
Packing Inspection and Order Identification
Packing inspection checks whether the correct product has been placed in the correct package and carton. Typical checkpoints include:
- Style, color and size identification
- Label and barcode accuracy
- Individual pack condition and sealing
- Quantity per inner pack and master carton
- Carton markings and carton numbering
- Carton condition before shipment preparation
Barcode scanning or third-party inspection can be arranged when required by the buyer. The exact inspection method should be stated in the purchase order or approved QC specification.
Packing Samples and Bulk Order Control
For OEM and private-label orders, a packaging sample or packing layout should be approved before bulk packing. This approval records the folding arrangement, label position, barcode placement, individual package and carton configuration.
During the bulk production process, the approved packaging reference helps maintain consistency between production batches and reduces mistakes when an order contains several sizes, colors or market-specific SKUs.
Late changes to printed packaging, carton quantities or labeling information may delay final packing. Buyers should finalize these details before the packaging materials enter production.
